Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) was established at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in April 2009 by the Shanghai Municipal Government. SAIF is committed to developing top talent and cutting-edge knowledge, with a focus on Chinese markets and their global connections. We offer Full-time Finance MBA in English (2 years) and Part-time Finance MBA Program (2.5-3 years) for those who want to learn knowledge and skills in all areas of business and management, and preserve their competitiveness to thrive in today's global landscape.
Co-constructed by SAIF, three disciplines of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) are ranked among the top in the world according to the 12th QS World University Rankings by Subject:
·Accounting and Finance, ranked 48th globally;
·Business and Management Studies, ranked 50th globally;
·Economics and Econometrics, ranked 63rd globally.
On May 11, 2022, Times Higher Education (THE) released the third edition of its China Subject Ratings. SJTU performed well in this year’s ratings, with a total of 41 disciplines being awarded an A+ ranking. Three disciplines co-constructed by SAIF (Industry & Business Administration, Management Science and Engineering, and Applied Economics) regained A+ designation.

All faculty hold Ph.D. degrees from top universities and over two thirds were tenured at world-class research universities before joining SAIF. Language Requirements
Full-time FMBA (English):
GMAT or GRE and submit the score (GMAT code: 6QS-S6-21, GRE code: 4100),
or IELTS ≥ 5.5,
or TOEFL ≥ 90.
Part-time FMBA (Chinese):
HSK 5 score > = 180,
or pre-admission result from our SAIF MBA interview.

SAIF Alumni Association
Alumni are important stakeholders and are critical to SAIF’s future development. SAIF’s strong network of alumni associations makes it a vital resource for students, alumni, and business professionals. As of July 2020, SAIF has produced nearly 5000 graduates.
SAIF Student Union
